Christian Education Opportunities

From the nursery to senior adults there are opportunities for everyone to grow and mature to become like Christ.  Colossians 1:28 He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.

First Circle of Friends: A Christ-centered, loving, well staffed and well rounded education for children Tuesday – Friday each week in our education wing.  To access their website click here: First Circle of Friends

Sunday School: During worship each week (after the music and children’s message) we have a great Sunday school program for kids up through 6th grade.

Junior and Senior High Youth: Youth groups meet Sunday nights each week with a full-time youth leader and wonderful volunteers.  For a detailed list of events and activities see their website by clicking here: Youth Group

Vacation Bible School: The last full week of June is traditionally the time for our annual VBS for preschool kids up through 6th grade.  Watch for more detailed announcements on this website as the time approaches.  There is no fee for participants so everyone can come!

Adults: We do not have a traditional Sunday school for adults; however, we have had great success through our many small groups (see “small groups”) and various seminars throughout the year (examples: Financial Peace University, ALPHA, Christianity Explored, Dunamis).  Sermons are also designed to deepen our biblical wisdom and mature us in Christ.

ALPHA Course: A ten week introduction to the Christian faith that meets once a week for 2 hours.  It’s highly regarded by all who have taken the course.  If you have questions, are curious, or want to learn more about Scripture and what Jesus is all about, this is a safe place to ask those questions and to explore matters of your choosing too.  It’s an enjoyable course you don’t want to miss!  This course is offered annually.

Christianity Explored: A seven week course that explores who Jesus is, what Jesus did and how we should respond.  It’s based on the gospel of Mark.  It’s a mix of conversational Bible study, video and exploration of issues (any and all) the participants may be curious about.

Regional Events: We will try our best to post regional opportunities as we become aware of them.
